New Labour line-up in West Northants

New Labour Group on West Northants Council

Cllr Sally Keeble (Dallington Spencer) is the new Leader of the Labour Group on West Northamptonshire Council.

A former MP for Northampton North, she leads the nine-strong group that will press for improvements especially in environmental and housing services.

Her deputy is Cllr Bob Purser (Abington Phippsville) who is also taking on the chairing of the Adult Social Care and Health Committee.

"It's a great honour to be elected as Labour Group Leader, Cllr Keeble said. "We face a big challenge to hold the Reform administration to account, and to press for improvements in our area."
